It would be hard to find a more desirable configuration to this car. It is the convertible version, Turbo S Aero, with the additional factory power kit, from the penultimate year of production of the first series, the last with original Saab chassis. This “classic” saab had 16 years of continuous evolution between 1978 and 1994 (in the convertible version from 1986 to 1994), being endowed with a set of unique characteristics of SAAB engineering, such as the positioning of the engine installed backwards with the power delivered from the crank at the front of the car and the gearbox bolted to the bottom of the engine with  a transaxle transmission , associated with a unique body, known for its structural rigidity, with the absence of the stoop in the cabin, also facilitating access to the interior of the vehicle for its passengers. Living up to the brand's aircraft legacy, it has a deeply curved windshield and a dashboard that is completely driver-oriented. In these times, Saab conducted technology-driven design philosophy.

The car here presented, as indicated above, comes in the sportiest version and top equipment, in the beautiful combination of black bodywork with beige leather upholstery in this Turbo S Aero version with a red APC (automatic performance control) box, increasing the power to 185hp from factory.

It is a first delivered Portuguese car with a single previous owner that was completely mechanically overhauled and took a new original soft top and body and interiors detailing.
